We are delighted to announce that B P Walter fans have two new and equally gripping thrillers to look forward to!

One More Chapter‘s senior commissioning editor, Jennie Rothwell, bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Joanna Swainson in a two-book deal. The first is set to hit shelves in summer 2023. His first title with One More Chapter, The Dinner Guest, became a Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller and was shortlisted for the Polari Prize.

His latest title The Locked Attic is published on November 24th 2022.

The untitled new novel follows Nathanial, a young man who becomes involved with Eleanor during his final year at university in 1986. When spending the summer with her family, Nathanial becomes involved in the mystery of Eleanor’s brother’s disappearance.

Jennie said: “I am incredibly lucky to be working with Barnaby on his new books. His plotting and characterisation is taut and suspenseful, and I know readers will love his new thriller. It’s been an honour to work with Barnaby, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to build his brand.”
