The longlist for the 2021 CWA Awards is here, and we’re thrilled to share that Emma Christie’s compelling debut crime novel, The Silent Daughter, has been longlisted for the New Blood Dagger! The award is for the best crime novel by a first-time author of any nationality first traditionally published in the UK in English. Congratulations, Emma!

The CWA Dagger shortlist will be announced in May with the awards ceremony taking place at the start of July. The Silent Daughter was published by Welbeck in September 2020.
