Her story is one of resilience, bravery and above all, hope. This is not just a remarkable account of a tough physical challenge but also one of healing the mind as well as the body. Gail is a passionate advocate for the great outdoors and how vital they are to our health and wellbeing. There are not nearly enough books by female adventurers and Gail’s story will inspire women everywhere.’
