I fell in love with the atmosphere while a student, did a PhD in atmospheric chemistry, and 30 years later, I still can’t get enough of it. Most of the time, I’m an environmental consultant specialising in air quality, and in my spare time, I write about the atmosphere, air pollution and other matters of scientific, historical and even linguistic interest. In my spare time, I run a kids’ club at our local church, sing in a couple of choirs, and make sure I breathe in and out every few seconds.
I’m married to Emma and have three sons, all of whom are considerably taller than me.
