Joanne Rush is a novelist, a short story writer and a poet. She has a PhD in English Literature from Cambridge University, which is where she first fell in love with myths and folklore. Joanne won The Fiction Desk’s Short Story Competition with her story Guests, the inspiration behind her forthcoming debut novel, Dancing on Knives. She is also the founder of The Writing Set, a creative writing company based in Bath, Oxford and London.
